From the beginning, Fellowship has been a significant component of Trinity’s body life. Whether it was the whole congregation playing and worshiping together at the annual Spring Fling, Teaching Fellowships, men’s breakfast Bible studies, men’s and women’s retreats, Date Nights for married couples, snow tubing, GAP, or the HUB, Trinity men and women have been encouraged, developed friendships, and deeper spiritual connections from gathering together.
Weekly Sunday school and Children’s worship, together with special events like Vacation Bible School, Children’s choir, Easter egg hunts, and the All Saint’s Fair, help provide the fuel for deep spiritual growth for our children. Miss Donna and Miss Laurie operate Great Beginnings preschool to foster early childhood development. Through these foundational ministries, our children continually grow in their faith and love for God.
SNF, Oasis, Wired — Trinity’s Youth Ministry has gone by many names over the life of our church. What has remained the same is our commitment to investing in our young people as they mature into young men and women steeped in the knowledge that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image. Weekly large group gatherings for middle- and high-school students, D-Group meetings, Modgnik retreats, scavenger hunts, beach retreats, and tacky Christmas sweater parties — all designed to provide opportunities for spiritual growth through relational, Biblical ministry.
The body of Christ is made up of people with a variety of abilities and all individuals are created with value and dignity in the image of God. (1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Genesis 1:27) Our mission is to make the gospel accessible to all touched by disability who require assistance in order to fully participate in the life of the church.
Eagle’s Wings bi-monthly Sunday School began in the early 1980s to create a place of belonging for adults and teenagers with developmental disabilities, where they can grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus, and fully participate in the life of the church.
Friends for Life began approximately 15 years ago to foster friendships among adults with and without special needs. The Night to Shine Prom in 2017 and 2018 brought hundreds of folks from the community together to celebrate.
