Grow

Hebrews 5:12–14 challenges us as believers to move beyond basic teachings and commit to the deep study of Scripture, which trains our spiritual senses for true maturity.

In the life of our church, this growth is experienced through strong spiritual education for all ages, Bible study, shared community life, and mutual discipleship.

Women Together in the Word

For 40+ years, this weekly gathering has anchored women of all generations in the study of Scripture, fostering spiritual maturity and deep community within the heart of Trinity.

“WTW has ministered to me in countless ways over the past 10 years. When I was a stay-at-home mom with toddlers, the nursery gave me a much-needed midweek respite. My small group became a source of faithful prayer, encouragement, and fellowship through life’s trials and challenges. The weekly homework and teaching have continually drawn me into God’s Word and helped keep me accountable to studying it faithfully. Through WTW’s leadership, I’ve also had the privilege of serving in ways that have stretched both my strengths and my weaknesses, growing my faith in the process. I love WTW and am deeply grateful for the many ways it has blessed me personally, as well as our church body and the Charlottesville community.”

Hospitality

Each December, WTW hosts an Annual Christmas Brunch for women within the church and from the community to kick off the Advent season.

The Fellows Program

For almost a quarter of a century, the Trinity Fellows program has been a cornerstone of our mission to grow disciples to maturity in Christ. This transformative year invites recent college graduates into the heart of our church family to deepen their faith and refine their vocational vision. Many now serve as leaders in local churches worldwide — a testament to 25 years of investing in the future of the Church.

“It has been our joy and privilege to serve as host family for 5 Trinity Fellows. They are more than friends, they are part of our family, and the Lord has grown us immensely as a result of having them in our lives. Even today, we are close with all of them.”

Spiritual Education

Trinity has always sought to faithfully teach God’s Word, knowing that the Spirit applies the truths of Scripture to our hearts and lives. Knowledge and love grow together and feed each other. This teaching begins with our children through a robust Sunday School and Children’s Worship program, carries on through Youth Education and Sunday Night Fellowship for middle and high schoolers, and continues into Christian Education (formerly Teaching Fellowships), Eagles’ Wings, and Faith Seeking Understanding forums.

Community / Home Groups

“This group is such a blessing through its faithfulness and consistency week to week.”

— Rachel Linhart

“Our family has been in a Trinity community group since we joined the church in 2015. Through four groups and dozens of brothers and sisters in Christ, the Holy Spirit has blessed us with fruitful fellowship, prayer, and study of the Word. Trinity community groups have encouraged us, challenged us, loved us, and built us up into the household of God.”

— Drew Massengill

“Our Community Group has been together for years, and I have been encouraged by how faithful our members are in attending, encouraged to see how we are learning from each other as we discuss the sermons and pray together, and encouraged by our genuine love for each other.”
